EP 146 - Jillian Michaels:
My old friend Jillian Michaels is our guest on the Pretty Intense Podcast today. It was so fun catching up with Jillian. We talked about Jillian's biggest life lessons: in her personal life, as a mother, in her professional life, and in her physicality. Jillian shares with us some real experiences that we all face. Like having the courage to listen to your gut, and turn a great opportunity down, when you know it's a bad idea. We talked about the challenges of motherhood, and the family dynamics that follow us from our own childhood. We talk about the importance of therapy, to understand how those family dynamics effect our adult behavior. We dig into why recognizing these patterns helps us live a happier and healthier life. There is a lot more to Jillian Michaels than diet and workout. Although we did talk diet and workout too. Be sure to check out Jillian’s new workout app: @thefitnessapp. We also share some old party fun we had together in our GoDaddy days. This is a really fun episode. We hope you enjoy it.
